Winter Arc Terms of Service
Effective date: 31 August 2026
These terms govern your use of Winter Arc, a self-improvement challenge tracker for iPhone and iPad published by Moonshot Media Limited, registered in Ireland (CRO 813696). By using Winter Arc you agree to them.
Licence
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use Winter Arc on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer or redistribute the App.
What is free and what is paid
Winter Arc can be explored without paying. You can open every screen, read every number and see how the whole 90 day structure works before you decide.
Using the App requires Winter Arc Pro. There are three ways to buy it, and you choose at the paywall:
- Monthly, an auto-renewing subscription at $6.99 per month, with a 7 day free trial for new subscribers.
- Yearly, an auto-renewing subscription at $19.99 per year, with a 7 day free trial for new subscribers.
- Lifetime, a single payment of $29.99. It does not renew and there is no trial.
Prices are in US dollars and vary by country. The exact price you will be charged, in your own currency, is shown on the paywall before you buy anything.
A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before that period ends. Your Apple Account is charged when the free trial ends, or at the moment of purchase if you are not eligible for a trial. Manage or cancel it in Settings › your name › Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not refund the period you are in. Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited if you subscribe before the trial ends.
You can move from Monthly to Yearly, or from either to Lifetime, at any time. Apple prorates subscription upgrades.
Purchases and refunds
Purchases are processed by Apple. Refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store Terms of Service, not by us. You can restore a previous purchase at any time from Settings inside the App, using the same Apple Account.
Your content
Everything you put into Winter Arc is yours: your rules, your daily check-ins, your journal lines and your progress photos. It is stored on your device and, if iCloud is enabled, in your own private iCloud database. We do not have access to it, we cannot recover it for you, and we cannot see it. Keeping a backup of your device is your responsibility. You can export everything to a file at any time from Settings.
What Winter Arc is not
Winter Arc is a tracker. It records what you decide to do and shows you your own progress. It is not a coach, a trainer, a therapist or a medical service, it does not give health, fitness, dietary or medical advice, and nothing in it is a substitute for professional advice. The rules in your arc are the ones you write. Decide for yourself whether they are safe and sensible for you, and speak to a qualified professional before starting anything that could affect your health.
The weekly recap can be written on your device by Apple’s on-device language model where your device supports it. It summarises what you recorded and nothing else. It never leaves your device and it does not give advice.
Acceptable use
Do not use Winter Arc for anything unlawful, and do not attempt to interfere with the App or with Apple’s services.
No warranty
Winter Arc is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Moonshot Media Limited is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of Winter Arc. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes
We may update these terms as the App changes. The effective date above tells you when they last changed. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland.
